‘The weather could not have been better for our walk around Criccieth and LLanystumdwy last Sunday 27th July.  Not too hot and blue skies all the way.
The views as always were outstanding and the Afon Dwyfor as spectacular as ever.
As it has more or less become an annual event, this year we decided to do the circular route in the opposite direction for a change of view, starting along the coastal path to Llanystumdwy where we met Rachel and Edmund on completion of their church duties.  Rachel joined the walkers whilst Edmund, still in the long recovery process following his serious injury, was on call to provide a back-up car service if required.
A total of eighteen took part including four visitors, one had traveled from Mold and another from Wrexham.
At the end of the walk we had a social get-together over a cup of tea and cake at Trefaes’.

The best spread of cakes ever. Edmund
