A really good walk of just under 10 miles. There were 19 of us that set off from the square in Tremadog under a hot sun. We walked up the hill past the new hospital to the village of Penmorfa. From there we headed towards the sea with a stop at the old church Ynyscynhaearn St Cynhaearn in the fields and marshes of Ystumllyn. Whilst the church is closed we had arranged to be shown round by a lady from the charity ‘’Friends of Friendless Churches’’. A really interesting stop.

After that we headed back through empty fields along the side of Moel y Gest and back to Tremadog.
It was then time for a well earned pint in the pub.
