| Subject: Chris's walk:-Hills above Tremadog. Sept 24 Tue Sep 20, 2011 4:50 pm | |
| This uses some familiar and some less familiar pathways in the hills to the West (and North) of Tremadog. On the recce we did just under 8.5 miles but if this is too much there are several 'short cuts' available or even, if the weather is particularly pleasant, a 'long cut'. The route is quite straight forward and after the initial ascent it is reasonably level until the final descent. Neither the ascent or descent are particularly difficult (No scrambling) If the previous days are a bit damp, it might be a bit muddy in places but nothing where you will need a snorkel or fins! Meet in Tremadog square for the 10:30 start and afterwards a trip into the Fleece will be appropriate. Any queries 'phone Chris on 01766515187 or me on 01286881071/07981998282 | |
