CAERNARFON & DWYFOR RAMBLERS

On SUNDAY 17 DECEMBER around fifty members of C&D Ramblers gathered at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis for an excellent three course Christmas Lunch, with coffee, mince pies and lots of chat to follow.

On SATURDAY 30 DECEMBER it’s back to boots and butties as the group take part in the Cerddwyr Ramblers Cymru annual Festival of Winter Walks. A warm welcome awaits anyone who would like to join us for this easy, six mile coastal walk from Caernarfon Airport. A 10.30am start leads us to the western shore of Y Foryd, before visiting historic eighteen century Fort Belan (£2 donation) at the fast flowing entrance to the Menai Straits. Then an edge of the sea walk, with views of Ynys Llanddwyn and Lleyn, takes us back to welcoming refreshments at the airports Hems Café.
