Please note that the Aberystwyth bus is now the T2 service operated by Lloyd's Coaches and leaves Caernarfon at 9.45 a.m. and Penygroes at 9.58 and not 10 a.m. as stated in the walks booklet.
Dolgellau is an architectural delight with its higgledy-piggledy streets and together with the beauty of the natural surroundings is a feast for the eyes. So instead of rushing up Cader, enjoy a leisurely stroll around the town and its environs and have a lunch in an excellent cafe.
