Saturday 14 May. Craig Wen ridge to Yr Aran

Craig Wen ridge to Yr Aran walk went well thanks to the 20 people who turned up. The weather was sunny with clear blue sky’s although it was a little cool in the north easterly breeze which eased later on. As posted before we started from Craflwyn Hall car park, walking up through the beautiful grounds. Stopping off at the big chair/throne we walked on to reach open ground, through a secret portal. and on to Craig Wen ridge and Yr Aran, the views being spectacular. The way off was down Cwm Y Bleiddaid with its mine workings dotted around and back to the car park, passing the waterfall and the dragon bench. A walk is a walk but people make it into an enjoyable outing.
