Guto led 14 of us along part of the magnificent coastal path overlooking the island before rounding Mynydd Anelog to Porth Oer and heading back to Aberdaron and refreshments (thank you Judith). So we saved £30 and enjoyed the last of the colours of the western gorse and cross-leaved heath, saw seals, foraged for fungi and some of us surprised ourselves by completing the 10 miles.
I propose looking for a date in late spring or early summer 2014that does not conflict with the walk programme for yet another attempt for a group trip to Bardsey. Perhaps we should disguise ourselves as some other group, as we have failed to make a crossing after 3 attempts as CaD Ramblers!
