Ynys Llanddwyn walk with Mickey Thursday November 18th.
Despite the early morning rain ten of us joined Mickey at Llyn Rhos Du .
As we walked along the side of the forest towards sea the sky turned blue and we where bathed in warm winter sunshine and when we stopped on the beach for a refreshment break we were glad of the opportunity to shed a layer of clothing.
We continued along the beach as far as Llanddwyn Island were we had some lunch and then followed the beach as far as the estuary, at this point we turned inland into Newborough and headed for the Llys Rhosr, the remains of a royal court of the powerful Princes of Gwynedd, from here we returned to the car park at Llyn Rhos Du.
All agreed it had been a excellent almost ten mile walk.
