Fort Belan. Wednesday May 27th

A simple straight forward walk today, Wednesday May 27th. We bowled along the Forydd, with the wind behind us to Fort Belan. We sheltered in the harbour area for our picnic lunch. Christopher, son of the owners met us to welcome us and to distribute the one and only Summer Programme booklet he could find, after a busy Anglesey Hussars week end. For the return walk along the beach, we were glad of the shelter of the dunes. We were ready for a welcome cup of tea and the Airport Bistro, which we reached in good time before the rain.
