History Walk. Padarn Railway and Hill Fort. Thursday 6th March.

Hope you can join us Thursday 6thMarch for a very special history walk with panoramic mountain views. Starting at 10.30am, parking permission has been obtained from the Bethel Football Club to park our cars in their car park  SH531 652.  If we can give a donation of say £2 per car towards club funds I know it will be very much appreciated.
We will be walking alongside the middle section of the Padarn /Dinorwig Quarries Railway that was in use for over 100years and disused sincethe 1950’s.   A Hill Fort will be a perfect lunch stop venue.  Just a few changes have been necessary to previous walks in the area to avoid a couple of very muddy fields and  fallen trees. This has made the walk about 6 miles in length.
Likely light showers forecast but fingers crossed for reasonable weather.  All very welcome and a good day out without too much effort guaranteed.
