Anglesey Coastal Path and Mynydd Eilian Sat Oct 26th 10-15 SH 453 935

We start this walk from the car park at Port Amlwch (It’s not the first one you come to by the public toilets just carry on along the road around the estuary and you soon come to a bigger one in open country)

From the car park we walk along the coastal path as far as Porth Llaneilian, we then turn inland and follow footpaths up to the top of Mynydd Eilian (568ft) From here we gradually return to sea level and following country lanes and footpaths eventually reaching the coastal path again which will take us  back to the car park.

The weather forecast for Saturday is reasonable; with light rain expected at about 4.00 pm.This walk is a nice mixture of coastal path and rural countryside. The views from the top of Mynydd Eilian on a clear day are well worth seeing.
