Diolch yn fawr to all those that attended Graham and Pat’s Y Felinheli and the Dinorwig Railway History walk today, twenty two of us had a wonderful time exploring several lesser used paths previously cleared by us Ramblers volunteers. We attracted walkers from all over, one lady Dot thought her drive from Bala was well worth while, whilst others came from the Ramblers groups from Merionnydd, Ynys Mon, Conwy, and Bangor and Bethesda in addition to several from our group. Thank you to Lew and Nigel being back markers. We did not have the promised sunshine, but under the cloud cover it was dry and mild. We had lunch on high ground overlooking the Snowdonia mountains, very scenic with the snow on the peaks. A special thank you to Pat and those that assisted with Christmas cheer hot drinks and mince pies around the Christmas tree back at Graham and Pat’s house.
