The weather forecast is looking quite good for Saturday which is good because the scenery on this walk once we get up on Mynydd Cilan is fantastic.
The walk starts from the small car park at the Llanengan end of Hell’s Mouth beach (SH 284 267) at 10.15 am, from here we follow the coastal footpath which follows the line of the beach and then up onto and around Mynydd Cilan for about four miles.
We then turn inland and on country lanes, footpaths and track’s and make our way cross country back to Llanengan passing the old Lead Mine’s.
By some stroke of luck the “Sun Inn” happens to be less than a mile from the car park were welcome refreshment can be taken.
