It needed a lot of co-operation to mount this walk. A route that is no longer supported by Gwynedd CC, not many know the exact way. So two buses and some car shuffling, meant that twelve people successfully navigated their way from Penygroes to Caernarfon then Caernarfon to Llanberis, then Llanberis to Waunfawr then Waunfawr to Y Fron, then a few brave ones Y Fron back to Penygroes a route of just under twelve miles! Rachel produced gourmet refreshments at Ty'n y Maes, appreciated by all. Despite a warning of rain not many drops fell and the temperature warmed up as we walked. We welcomed two visitors Elinor from Ross on Wye and Basil from ??? who has a cottage on the Llyn.
The walker of the day award went to Hero the border terrier, who brought Elinor along with us without complaint.
