Mickey's walk on Thursday February 23rd at 10am, promises to be on one of the warmest days in February ever? We shall see!
This is an 8.5 mile walk around Newborough Forest and on to Llandwyn Island. The Island is a geologists paradise, with different types of rocks thrown up to the surface from a violent past.
Please note the car park is beyond Newborough Village at SH. 411 671. Although flat this walk is quite demanding as much of it is on sand! Mickey has checked the tides and it is ebbing all day, so the island can be reached this time!
There will be an opportunity to visit the 'Y Groeslon' in Brynsiencyn following the walk. This is an ideal winter walk.
