Things are looking good for this walk, a cold dry day, ready for the off.
We shall be passing the scene of a recent footpath triumph, when a landowner blocked an ancient stile with fencing paid for by you and me. Now fully re-opened. Then on to the brand new footpath along the old Bryngwyn branch railway all the way to Waunfawr. We will have lunch nr Tryfan Junction. This 4.5 miles into the walk. I will park a car at this point for anyone wishing to join Rachel to leave the walk at this half way point. The return leg is boggy in places, rougher ground, and some awkward almost non existent stiles.
However Ifor has arranged a big welcome at his favourite local for those who complete the walk.
See you there.
