Well what a great walk, it had everything needed for a first class walk.
Ten hardy ramblers set off to experience some of the best weather that planet Earth provides for its inhabitants. From the start it provided stinging rain on the uphill section which carried on to the end of the walk. It wasn’t long before we were ankle deep in snow and the mist was down and we were walking in a white out, but never mind we carried on with just the one hesitation as to the route. I was amazed that no one missed the gorgeous views (they can do the walk again if they’re that keen to see them).
On the downhill section we even had to cross some ice which Vicky demonstrated how to do a quick decent on her derrière. We all got back to our cars feeling good with ourselves.
Some interesting facts to report that there were 6 women to 4 men and Edmund sent me a email saying that he couldn’t come along, but had arranged the weather.
Thanks to Vicky for being rear marker.
