21 ramblers turned up for the walk along the ridge above Nant Peris. Alas the strong winds beat us into submission and after huddling behind a wall for our panad we decided the best course of action was to descend to the Llanberis path. From there we walked to Helfa and over to Llyn Dwythwch. Many thanks to Dennis and Joan for this suggestion. We made a welcome stop at Steffans cafe on the way back to Llanberis. It wasn't the walk I'd planned but I think everyone was glad to get out of the wind and enjoyed the alternative.
