Ron informs me that this is a gentle ascent, with a steep descent! Altogether a good mountain walk at the Rhyd Ddu end of the Nantlle ridge. This is in the heartland of our Ca/Dw Group area. Away from the honey pots of Snowdonia, how lucky we are!
Ramblers over the years had to fight for the access to the Ridge particularly the way Ron is going. Now we have accepted access to one of the best ridges in the Park, many say better than the Horshoe on Snowdon itself.
This is a walk not to miss. Dutch Tea Room or Cellyn Arms for apres.
