PostSubject: Sundays 2 April - Three Cwms and Two Bwlchs Walk   Wed Mar 29, 2017 3:19 am

Tempting fate, but the weather forecast looks reasonable for Sunday. The grading of the walk as a B was a little over the top, not much steep ground to cover, though the distance might creep up to eleven miles. Walking the route last week with Nigel I thought longingly of a pair of wellies - once we crossed the bwlch into Cwm Pennant some of the ground was like a sponge. Hopefully it will have dried out a little by Sunday, but if not …….. .

Otherwise, a nice walk through country less visited, quiet now, but once alive with the sights and sounds of farmers, foresters, copper miners and quarry men.
