What? The Bontnewydd By-pass Public Inquiry

When? Tuesday 20 June at 10am at the Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon.

Why? It’s the start of presentations by Caernarfon and Dwyfor Ramblers Group. Cycling UK and others, all of whom object to plans by the Welsh Government to impose two main road crossings on users of Lon Eifion at the Goat roundabout, the start of the proposed Bontnewydd bypass. The objectors will also be presenting alternative plans showing traffic free routes for Lon Eifion at the roundabout.

We need support to show the Inspector that plenty of other people share our concerns. The wide spectrum of people, who use Lon Eifion, including many young children, they will need a safe, traffic free crossing at the roundabout. So come along, support us, and show the Government team that it will not be easy for them to get their own way.
