Great coastl walk on Anglesey on Sunday. Nearly 15 miles with well over 2000 ft total ascent/descent with a maximum height of just over 300 ft. (It was a bit up and down). Gorgeous weather, super walk and good Company.
Thanks Dave

Thank you, John - and sorry the walk was a little longer than the 12 miles advertised! Taking an unplanned detour which gave us two viewings of the old windmill in Amwlch was one way of getting the milage up. Add on the walk out past the lighthouse to the tip of Trwyn Eilian (pleasing the seal and porpoise spotters), plus all the coastal indentations, and the miles creep up.
Well done Mickey for travelling by bus from Caernarfon, and for walking around 10 miles before catching a bus home, leaving us in the garden of the Pilot Boat enjoying the beer and soft drinks before the last leg back to Moelfre.
It might have been a longish walk, but we made the most of a good weather day, something of a novelty recently.
