Well, checked the tide times again, still low tide when we want it, and the bus timetable has not been altered, we leave Moelfre at 9.35 on Sunday morning. The weather? Well, three days ahead the XC forecast shows a day of sunshine and cloud – but in this so changeable July, who knows what will happen.

Anyway, if you would like to join me in an interesting walk on coastal paths and lanes, with a just a little estuary mud walking, then join me at the bus stop in Moelfre. This walk will complete the C&D Ramblers walks on the Anglesey coast from Beaumaris to Amwlch. For the future, the coast west of Amwlch awaits us, with the section past Carmel Head the highlight.

Might catch you at Margaret’s Black Rock Sands evening, 6pm tonight, Thursday, with swimming optional!
