Our 6-7 mile circular will start at 10.15am from Pen Llyn, Brynrefail SH559 623. We take in lots of historical interest including the remnants of 'Felin Arthur Cegin' (Arthurs kitchen well) where we will be having our lunch stop. Gareth Roberts (Menter Fachwen' who gave us a very interesting talk at our recent agm will be with us on the walk. His depth of knowledge together with photographs will enlighten all of us as to the importance of this site for 200 people day visiting this well for its’ health giving water quality, many travelling hundreds of miles by stage coach. With the recent rains we see waterfalls and streams in full flow. Hopefully the walk will have been completed before the forecasted rain arrives. I look forward to seeing you there.
