This is a proper John Carson walk with some challenging walking. C+? I would say B, as it goes to the top of Moel y Gest. An innocent small peak, but it has steep rocky outcrops near the top. Just the right walk for those who relish a challenge, even the weather forecast is looking good. At the finish of the walk you will need refreshments at the 'The Pub on the platform' which is right by the car park.
