Hello Everybody.
Our Footpath Training Day is now fully arranged and confirmed for Saturday 22nd October 2011 at Penygroes Village Hall, in the Community of Llanllyfni. We have a large room booked for what we hope to be a good attendance. Previous training courses for the North Wales area have been very successful and experience has now come up with a good formula.
We have chosen Penygroes as a good area where we have a few footpath problems. The day is planned for a 10.00am start. During the morning short local walks will be arranged, with maps and routes traced onto them for small groups, two to four to walk. Photographs will be taken on the route both the good parts and the problems.
After returning to the village hall for your packed lunch, each group taking us through their ‘walk’ and answering questions. A discussion then takes place on the issues and how to get them sorted. We will aim to finish around 4.00pm. It is likely that we will also be joined by staff from Cardiff Office.
You are invited to take part on what I am sure will be a very informative, worthwhile and good fun day that will no doubt lead to a better understanding on how to make reports to Gwynedd Council in the future.
If you have not already confirmed your interest in attending please reply and add your name to the list. I look forward to hearing from you.
