Ty Mawr and the Lledr Valley walk Sunday April 8th Meet at Dolwyddelan Station 10.30.
Sundays walk follows the River Lledr down as far as Pont Gethin then climbs uphill through the forest to Ty Mawr birthplace of Bishop William Morgan who was the first person to translate the bible from English to Welsh. From here we will continue to climb up to Foel Felin and then follow a vague footpath over the moorland before descending back down to Dolwyddelan.
I did a recce of the walk with Vicki a week ago, it was very wet underfoot in places , put your best boots on !!!!
