Well, Joan certainly picked a good film for the first of Caernarfon & Dwyfor Ramblers’ winter social events. Victoria and Abdul might not go down well with a wham bam teenage audience, but the big crowd at the Galeri certainly seemed to enjoy it, as we did, so thanks Joan. It was good to see Edmund and Rachel out and about again, even if, understandably, they skipped the after film drinks and chat in the Galeri bar.
Joan’s next event is the Reel Rock adventure films evening at the Galeri on 23 November.
Before that impresario Dafydd Jones will be conducting our AGM and social evening at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Llanberis, on Thursday 9 November. Arrival anytime for a 7.30pm start, with the AGM being followed by a chance to chat and catch up with friends, whilst enjoying the Vic’s refreshments and drinks along with a rolling montage of photos from our walks and events.
