Weather forecast for Saturday has improved throughout the week so let's hope that the weather agrees.
So as to avoid accusations of terminal inexactitudes in the write, up the actual distance is best stated as "under 6 miles" but this slight difference from the previously stated value is all downhill!
From the start at the Brondanw arms (The Ring) car park we take the road towards Croesor, passing Plas Brondanw before taking to "open country and forest" leading to the highest point of the walk where we take the (very) minor road before crossing open country past Hendre Gwenllian and Moel Dinas on the descent to finish at the ring, Overall it is a fairly easy walk with a few short steepish bits but definitely no scrambly bits and it will be at a leisurely pace.
There will be a collection during the day for the BBC charity "Children in need".
