Join Mickey at 9.50am at Porthmadog main line station for a railway journey down the Cambrian coast to Tonfanau. From there an eight mile easy walk, partly on the Wales Coast path, leads to Tywyn and the train back to Porthmadog, arriving there around 7pm. The walk will be good, but it’s worth the trip just for the views along the magnificent coast. For even more value, if you have bus pass, it can be used for the rail journey.
