Our next footpath maintenance day is being planned for Wednesday 16th November 2016.
As you know last year Ramblers ran the Big Pathwatch, a very big and ambitious ever project to survey every footpath in Great Britain. Much of the coverage highlighted the amazing work of our footpath maintenance teams shining a spotlight on the huge public benefit like ‘Tîm Taclo Llwybrau’ offer.
During the week 14th – 20th November 'Ramblers' is launching a campaign to showcase the work the volunteers are achieving to help improve the paths and they would very much like our group to be involved. Our work day on the 16th will be a great opportunity to showcase the work ‘Tîm Taclo Llwybrau’ is doing to help educate the public on how they can play their part in also maintaining the paths. Before and after shots will be taken and used in local media coverage.
If you would like to attend on the 16th please let me know and you will be kept fully informed as to the work schedule and location map. If you have not attended before and would like to support this very worthwhile special work day, you will be made very welcome. All tools supplied, just bring along your refreshments.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on site.
Graham.
