I was joined by 5 Rambling friends and the sunshine for this lollipop walk from Capel Uchaf to the listed old stone bridge, Pont y Cim, via pastures, gardens, narrow lanes, hazardous stiles and a short stretch of brambles. Thence we chose the seaside alternative to the official Coastal Path route, (i.e. along the A499), to Aberdesach. Here we turned inland and a gradual climb back to our starting point and refreshment. It was clear that some official clearance had gone on earlier in the year, but I am left wondering if I am the only one making use of them.
