A lovely summer day (or at least it could have been if it wasn't for the absence of a number of centigrades) ,saw 13 of us (agreed after about 4 counts) gather in the small car park at Talsarnau station for an up and down walk (plus a bit of flat).
Heading upward through lanes and woodland our first "objective" was Llyn Tecwyn Isaf before the easy climb up the lane to Llandecwyn Church which was open, allowing us to look inside. Parts of the church date back to medieval times and it seems to have had a rather mixed history with the building being a Wesleyan Chapel in the 19th century.
After admiring the views over the estuary, from the churchyard, we continued to Llyn Tecwyn Uchaf where a short loop around the end of the lake led us to the Coastal path down the "valley of the pylons" to cross the main road at Llandecwyn. The final bit of up, (and down) led us along the coast and back to the Station.
Everyone agreed that it had been a good 6 miles.
