(Dave's report of our walk yesterday) The walk started with a ride on the Ffestiniog Railway from Tan y Bwlch to Tanygrysiau, this being the last day of the season for the service. We had a group of 11, all of whom were members of our group.

From Tanygrysiau we walked at a leasurely pace through the hills and woodlands of the Vale of Ffestiniog, taking in the beautiful Autumn colours in almost unbelievable warm weather, some members is short sleeve shirts.

The latter part of the walk was through the woodlands around Llyn Mair and Llyn Hafod y llys, then over the newly erected footbridge at Tan y Bwlch station where the café was open for refreshments. A total of 6 miles and definitely to be repeated."
