Lleyn Three Peaks Empty

Llŷn 3 Peaks - This walk was intended for autumnal conditions when the Snowdonia peaks are blanketed in cloud and it certainly was autumnal!
Six of us turned out in mist and light but warm drizzle to tackle Carreglefain, Garn Boduan and Garnfadryn.

We Failed!
Around 16:00 on Bwlch Garnfadryn it was blowing a damp drizzle and the mist was down. Discretion being the better part of valour, we deferred tackling the Garnfadryn summit. However we had a good lunch spot on Boduan looking North West, the day was mostly dry and so we had an interesting (sorry about challenge of thistles, nettles brambles and broken stiles - all reported) 10 mile walk through varied countryside and ancient remains to make the best of the day.
Perhaps as wisely suggested by Chris, we should try again next year in the reverse direction.

Roy
