Dave led nine of us + 1 frisky dog for a 12 mile walk in his Snowdonia backyard. Up Moel Cynghorion via the Snowdon Ranger track and along undulating grassy ridges via Foel Goch and Foel Gron to Moel Elio.

It actually stopped raining for lunch in the welcoming wind shelter on Moel Elio!

But then the clouds parted to reveal Snowdonia surrounding us in scenic glory. We descended from the sunny but blustery Bwlch Maesgwn to delicious tea and home-made scones in warm sunshine. Thanks Dave for a well planned and expertly led walk and Kath for such a nice welcome to your lovely home.

Roy
