Our new shorter walks programme is taking off. Sixteen people on a Friday were led off by Jean, around her patch at the western foot of the Nantlle Ridge. Well trodden paths were trod again to Cwm Dulyn, the reservoir for the Nantlle Valley. Here we were proud to tread the bridge that our Footpath Maintenance Team repaired a few years back still showing the new treads and providing easy passage. A picnic lunch by the lake was just right, sheltered from a cold easterly breeze. On our way back it became warmer and warmer and layers of clothes were being stripped off. Thank you Jean for a walk that was just right, 5.86 miles amongst high mountains.
