Meet 11am in the centre of Y Fron SH 506548. A walk of four miles across the very wild Uwchliffon Plateau, on the 1000ft contour. We visit a vast quarry hole with half ruined Cabans where we will have coffee. Then on down to Llyn Ffynhonnau, passing an 'ice age pebble' and looking over the area now designated as an are of outstanding archeological and geological interest.
We return to Fron along a farm track.
Slightly muddy in places; Gaiters? otherwise firm ground in the middle of nowhere.
Information supplied by Edmund prior to his journey "Off on the road to Morocco"
The walk will be led by Ifor and as of Sunday lunchtime the forecast for Tuesday is SUNNY
