20 people turned out for a circular walk from Criccieth via Llanystumdwy, encouraged by the beautiful sunny weather. We walked the back road to Llanystumdwy, crossed the main road to go onto the Coast path, passed by a farmyard and house, through fields and along the Dwyfor estuary. Due to the good weather recently there was very little mud, much sunshine! The views across the sea to Rhinnogs and Harlech, also along the coast to Criccieth with mountains beyond were admired and photographed. After a short break for drinks we continued on the coast path back to Criccieth, stopping briefly to comment on the white block house seen above its stone wall. After a break on the sea front 7 of us strolled along, by the castle, up through the Maes and centre of the village before heading home.
