> Speaker Frances Voelker, Gwynedd's leading Conservation Architect.

> New members for the Committee.
>  We are asking for new members to come on the Ca/Dw Committee. It meets three times a year in members homes. Though it meets formally and minutes are taken, the actual meetings are informal and the refreshments are always excellent! Our current needs Publicity and Countryside Matters, but just gaining experience would be great too. Have a word with Dafydd our Chairman on 01766 524817.

> Next years week end away. July 2015.
>  We are looking for some members to organise next years week end away. Probably the first week end in July. We have been to the Peak District twice. Church Stretton twice, and Llangollen area once. Are you familiar with a similar area within reach, for long week end away? The organisation that is needed, includes:- deciding on two shortish walks and two longer walks, then thinking about place/s to have supper together. We arrange our own accommodation. Participants contribute to any expenses the organiser incurs.

> Footpath Maintenance Work Parties.
> After a rest in August, the footpath maintenance team will be re convening probably on Wednesday September 17th? Graham will be in touch with the team with full details. >  SOCIAL EVENTS
> Beach party at Dinas Dinlle, 6 p.m. onwards on Friday, September 12th 2014. The furthest car park close to the airfield, SH 432583, .  Bring your own food and drink lots of beach games equipment. A  lot of informal fun to be had, weather permitting. You are invited to come along and bring the family.

> Blaenau Ffestiniog Zip wires on Saturday October 18th. The sooner we book the better the time we can choose. Hopefully between 11am and 12 noon. The whole experience lasts about two hours!  This involves being kitted out, then being driven up the mountain from Llechwedd descending down 3 separate runs with fantastic views.  Four people can descend at a time.  If we book in groups of four we can get a reduction of £5, paying £45 instead of £50.  Please contact Margaret on 01286 660370 if interested by September 20th. My very senior Grandson Nathan (18yrs), vouches for the adrenaline fix and the  lovely views as you descend.

> WALKS IN SEPTEMBER.
> There are five walks to enjoy in September. Three strenuous mountain walks. Saturday September 6th - Sunday September 21st - Saturday September 27th and two leisurely coastal path walks on Pen Llyn Wednesday September 3rd - Saturday September 13th. The choice is yours! The holidays are over, the garden is calming down, friends and family have gone home. Now is the time to get back into regular walking. We all need to be fit ready for Christmas! Only 119 shopping days left.
