Dave and Pat's walk this Sunday March 9th. This walk has a new start.

Sunday March 9th 10-30am.
The route as planned is water logged with the water level at a stream crossing above wellies. Tried diversions, but without success.
I have found a walk which starts about a mile away in Dolwyddelan albeit a short walk of just 4 miles ,a circular through Carreg Alltrem, which is manageable in all weather. It is on forest tracks and hard surfaced paths. The first half is through forest and the second half is back to Dolwyddelan through Cwm Penamnen with open views.
The start point is approx one mile by car from the original.
At least it will not be a wasted journey for people looking forward to a walk and there is the possibility of a pub visit afterwards and for those wishing to venture further there is Dolwyddelan Castle near by.
