Ca/Dw Winter Festival Walk January 2nd 2014

 The annual Winter Festival Walk for the Caernarfon and Dwyfor Ramblers was as good as ever. How did we manage such good weather, none last week, none next week. Thirty eight people were glad of the fresh air following Christmas and the New Year. Great to see each other again and swop Christmas tales of family get togethers. A simple 4.5 miles walk along Dyffryn Gwyrfai was just right. Wet underfoot, but not too muddy, evidence of storm damage everywhere. We had to crawl under one fallen tree. Afterwards at the Newborough Arms, Bontnewydd, only fair since we used their car park.
