PostSubject: Criccieth to Porthmadog 7 August 2013   Mon Aug 19, 2013 2:34 am

Sixteen of us gathered at the Moranedd café at the east end of Criccieth prom.  Joining us for the day was a friend called Bryn who was visiting from Perth in Australia and who managed to surprise a few people by speaking Welsh to them.
We had a fine day and the a great view of Morfa Bychan beach from Black Rock.  The stretch along the sands gave us some fine views of the Rhinogydd and the 'Roman Steps'.  Lunch was taken in the bay past Ynys Cyngar as we looked up to Samson's Rock.  We then strolled through Borth-y-Gest and on into Porthmadog in plenty of time for the next bus back to Criccieth.
I believe everyone had a good day out.
