Efforts at publicity for the walk failed to bring in any new punters, but 13 turned up for a leisurely 4+ miles of ups and downs between the top of the village and the River Dwyryd. Thanks to the Ffestiniog Railway celebrating its 150th anniversary we had good photo opportunities of engines under steam. This marvel of engineering put pay to the livelihoods of the independent boatmen who operated from the quai at Tyddyn Isaf. The sun shown and there was just enough breeze to lift up a Ramblers' kite.
