Sunday's walk starts from the car park opposite Trefriw Woollen Mill. From the south you turn right opposite the mill and obviously if you come from the north you turn left immediately you go over the bridge.
The walk is not strenuous but is a good 9/10 mile hike.If the weather is bad we have easy options to shorten it.
After a steady pull up out of the village past the Fairy falls we arrive at on the shores of Geirionydd for a welcome break. We the make our way through ancient forests to Llyn Crafnant. After coffee [or not ].
We have a welcome flattish walk along the shores of Crafnant before climbing back over to Llyn Gerionydd.
After lunch and toilets etc we climb again up to Castell y Gwynt before dropping down to a very very old church at Llanrhychwyn before dropping back down to Trefriw before a welcome pint or cup of tea.
If the weather is kind to us,which I expect, its a varied walk with plenty of views, good walking,no wet bits[at least on the recce} and time will be in our/your hands.
