Jeans walk on Wednesday August 15th, was a low level walk from Llanllyfni to the coast. However the August mid summer forecast contained an amber warning for floods, with non seasonal winds. The forecast was right! However eight true Ca/Dw souls set out in dry windy weather, before the rain set in after half an hour. It was warm, but wet! It is very rare that you regret setting out on a walk, and this was not one of those rare occasions. We were all glad to be there! Edmund particularly, post surgery, to regain confidence in walking in public!
Thanks Jean for persevering with the walk and for discovering a previously obstructed path was passable as long as you did not mind climbing a locked five bar gate!
