Conwy to Llanfairfechan walk, Sunday 5th August.
As you may have seen in Edmund’s latest Newsletter, the gremlins have been busy on this walk. Contrary to the date shown on the walks calendar on the C&D website, the walk is as printed in the walks booklet, on Sunday 5th August.
We start the day catching the 9.51am bus from the stop by the crossroads in Llanfairfechan. This is the X5, which left Bangor at 9.35, so you could catch it there, or get an earlier bus from Caernarfon to Bangor. The return buses from Llanfairfechan later in the day go right through to Caernarfon, with about two every hour.
The days walk is a journey back through time, from the 1991 tunnel under the Afon Conwy to the Neolithic stone circles we will see later in the walk. Hopefully summer will have returned, and we can enjoy the fine views en route.
Look forward to seeing you on the 5th.
