Moel Siobod Walk Sat June 16th 10.00am

This is very much a walk of two half’s. The first half starts through the forest at Plas Y Brenin and steadily climbs to the summit of Moel Siobod and then descends very gradually down the ridge to Pen y Gwryd.The second half starts on the other side of the valley and follows the way marked path back to Plas y Brenin.

If anybody just wants to climb Moel Siobod there is a regular Sherpa Bus from Pen y Gwryd to Plas y Brenin and this would reduce the walk by some four miles.

The car park behind Joe Browns isn’t large so it might be a good idea to get there a bit earlier than 10.00am.
