Jean had done the recce, the web site post was on site, people had begun ringing up promising to be there. Then there was the WEATHER. Not one mention of snow in all the detailed local forecasts, unpleasant yes, but definitely not snow. We now know what actually happened. Jean bravely went to the start just in case, but fortunately no one turned up. Another time Jean, please.
