The walk this Sat has been tested and sorted.
As it involves a bit of (easy) scrambling and visits the tops it is somewhat weather dependent and could be shortened and/or modified in inclement weather as I really don't want to have a lot of paperwork which would obviously happen if I managed to lose anyone in the clouds! The last peaks visited were a first time for me and the views from the final ridge are superb.
The recce did prove that my initial descent path is most definitely not on (ask Chris & Chris).
I set out to do a quick recce of the first mile or so by Aber falls but eventually found myself almost on the top of Llwytmor in glorious sunshine. Then it happened! there was a loud roar that I initially thought was a low flying jet; then I was blown over by a severe gust of wind. I decided that 'top bagging' would be stupid in a gale so retreated. The following day, accompanied by Chris & Chris we did the last pert of the walk- again windy but not as bad.
If anyone wants to combine travel, call me 01286881071 or 07981998282 and I'll attempt to co-ordinate lifts.
